The 7 Deadly Sins don't really exist but something similar is found in Proverbs 6:16-19. All these sins have one thing in common. ...

 ¹⁶ There are six things the LORD hates,
   seven that are detestable to him:
    ¹⁷ haughty eyes,
      a lying tongue,
      hands that shed innocent blood,
    ¹⁸ a heart that devises wicked schemes,
      feet that are quick to rush into evil,
    ¹⁹ a false witness who pours out lies
      and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.
The one thing they all have in common is that they ruin relationships. God hates what destroys relationships.

God doesn't hate the sinner, but hates the sin. He wants us to be freed from the bondage of the sin we are stuck in. Malachi 2:15-16 says that God hates divorce. He hates that a relationship is ruined. He hates the hurt that spaws from the act, but he does not hate the sinner for committing the sin.

I have heard the Woman at the Well story many times but sunday a different point was brought up. God calls us to seek Him and go to HIS water for nourishment and fullfillment. This lady was going to men over and over to be filled, and He tells her to come to him instead of men. He wants her to know real love and real relationships but knowing Him. Then, she will likely be more successful in relationships.

Because of sin we are unable to have a perfect relationship, with anyone. This started in Genesis 3. When sin entrered, so did pride, blame, and shamefullness.

"See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting" Psalm 139:24. I want Jesus to clean me out and guide me in a way where I do not carry my dirty sin  around.

John 13:35 -

³⁵ By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
We will be identified as Christ followers by the way we love. Powerful.
